Sofitel the Palm Resort & Spa

The environment is very good, the bridge is flowing. The taste is more in line with the Chinese. There is no picture on the menu, and the English slag means that there is pressure. Ordered a grilled fish and personally thought it was delicious. The sashimi on the sushi platter is very fresh. I gave a salad with the hotel coupon. The meat lover said it was not very delicious.

We found the more formal and subtle dining experience worth it. Great service and food. It&#39;s a better way of controlling the pounds on your weight, but wishing for more! First class service

I had visited the restaurant with my family. The food was great and huge choice. The ambience was greater. It was value for money. The staff was was highly courteous and friendly. They made us feel at most comfort . Special thanks to Hnin she is very kind and helpful. Will recommend and will definitely visit again and again...

We are dubai lovers and regularly visit. We usually stay at le Royal Meriden or the Westin. We were a bit nervous about trying a new place but we really loved it. The room was amazing. Loved loved the doors that opened between the bath and the bedroom. Lying in an extremely comfortable bath whilst watching TV was sheer luxury. The seperate shower was incredible too. Bed was so comfy and the hotel offered a pillow menu which is always a good sign for me. We had a palm view room and it was a lovely night time view. The food was great and they catered so well for kiddies. Staff were really friendly. The pools were awesome loved the alcove bits with private cabanas. My baby boy loved crawling around in the shallow waters. Nice that the resort had a slide too. Weekends were extremely busy. The only down side was that the sofitel had extremely strict rules around Ramadan. The Chinese restaurant was shut because of if it and we were allowed ONLY water at the pool. Other hotels were business as usual with food and alcohol around the pool. Granted we were allowed food and drink at the restaurant by the pool during the day but it would have been nice to have known this before we booked our trip. But loved our stay and we would go back.

We had many options to choose from but so glad we choose Sofitel on the Palm. Everything was perfect from the service to the personalized attention. The apartments were large and well fitted out. Perfect for families!! We left there with amazing memories created by the wonderful staff. We surely will be back very soon! Thank you Sofitel!

Our first time on The Palm and we were not disappointed! This Sofitel hotel is all you would expect, and more, from a five star hotel! Firstly, the staff are truly amazing - extremely competent at their jobs, courteous, polite and can&#39;t do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay - thank you all SO much! The hotel itself is immaculate, always a beautiful smell in the hotel lobby area and everything is kept amazingly clean. For example I did notice one day a child&#39;s handprint on a large mirror by the lifts (of course to be expected) - well it was gone within ten minutes!! They certainly deserve the four cases I saw of awards! Our room which was a Prestige King Suite was truly stunning and more than adequate for a comfortable stay. Plenty of water (and lovely chocolates) delivered to our door too. One huge benefit we didn&#39;t expect (although seems popular with Dubai hotels now) was access to a club lounge (called Millesimi) . This is because of the type of room booked eg Prestige Suite. Well I would highly recommend you book this type of accommodation because the club lounge access is brilliant. Soft drinks, sandwiches, desserts, fruit etc is served virtually all day and then between 6 - 8pm alcohol and canap&eacute;s. The service was ALWAYS impeccable and incredibly efficient. It&#39;s not a large club lounge which is good - I don&#39;t think I ever saw more than about 12 - 15 people in there all week. My husband used the gym which he said was fantastic (and as a dedicated gym user he&#39;s fussy!). The main pool outside is extremely clean and best of all kept nice and cool! It can get very busy (as we went in the half term holidays) and my only slight criticism is that the sun beds are quite crowded and almost impossible to find some late morning - although we were quite happy to go onto the lovely large beach which the hotel is situated on. If it&#39;s a windy day though, you can&#39;t put the umbrellas up and then this does become a problem! However, easily solved! I have a suggestion Sofitel - 

A great and beautiful hotel from design to facilities. The rooms are quiet and the pool is chilled and well designed so guests sitting in that area can choose to sit under fully covered tent or a normal sun bed with umbrella. Pools are attended by courteous and well knowledgeable lifeguards acting as Ambassadors to Sofitel in addition to their duty keeping the pool area safe and the kids are well monitored. It is so beautiful to spend the day at the pool where you can enjoy and see other families enjoying quality time with their kids. The slides on the other swimming pool is very nice and the kids loved it, just if the hotel can stress about that particular area to be smoke free section as most of the kids hang out there. The cleanliness is almost perfect and the staff are maintaining the area well. Food and beverage will be reviewed differently highlighting the specific outlet we will use rather than judging all outlets the same. Stay tuned
